AIFS Team

The Akwesasne Indigenous Fashion Show is the vision of a core group of individuals—who came together to create a space celebrating Indigenous talent in fashion. Founded to spotlight Indigenous designers, models, and artists from across the United States, our annual event in Akwesasne brings vibrant creativity, traditional craftsmanship, and modern artistry to the runway. Through our show, we honor our heritage and proudly support the thriving community of Indigenous fashion.

Over the years, our committee has grown from four to a dedicated team of sixteen. Each member brings a unique skill set—from decorating to coaching and everything in between—essential for the show’s continued success. Their commitment and talents are invaluable, making it possible to bring this annual celebration to life and ensuring its success year after year.
